The Air Filter Cartridge is an important component of the Longer ePrint air filtration system. During long-term operation, the filter cartridge may need to be replaced to maintain proper filtration performance.

Follow the steps below to replace the ePrint Air Filter Cartridge safely and correctly. Before starting, make sure the machine is in a safe condition for maintenance. Prepare the replacement Air Filter Cartridge and ensure the working area is clean and free from objects that may interfere with the operation.

1. Remove the ePrint Acrylic Front Cover

Before replacing the Air Filter Cartridge, the Acrylic Front Cover needs to be removed to access the filter compartment.

First, move the Print Head to the center position. Reach behind the Acrylic Front Cover and loosen the four Thumb Screws on each side of the cover.

There are eight Thumb Screws in total. Loosen all screws without completely removing them from the machine.

After all screws are loosened, carefully lift and place the Acrylic Front Cover on the top of the machine.

Important: Do not place the Acrylic Front Cover in other positions. Incorrect placement may pull on the LED light strip and cause it to become loose.

2. Remove the Existing Air Filter Cartridge

After removing the Acrylic Front Cover, locate the Air Filter Cartridge inside the machine.

  • Press the Retaining Clips on both sides of the filter cartridge to release it.
  • Then gently pull the Air Filter Cartridge downward and remove it from the original installation position.

When removing the filter cartridge, avoid applying excessive force to prevent damage to the surrounding components.

3. Install the New Air Filter Cartridge

Insert the new Air Filter Cartridge upward into the original position. Make sure the cartridge is properly seated and securely installed before continuing.

After installation, reinstall the Acrylic Front Cover and tighten all Thumb Screws to secure the cover.

Check that the cover is correctly positioned and all screws are properly tightened before operating the machine again.

The Air Filter Cartridge replacement process is now complete.
