ePrint Maintenance Guide: Ink Stack and Wiper Blade Replacement

After prolonged use, ePrint will accumulate a lot of ink residue on the ink stack and wiper blade, which can affect the printhead's condition. Therefore, under conditions of frequent use, it is recommended to replace the ink stack and wiper blade every 3 months.

1. Remove the acrylic front cover

Move the printhead to the center position, reach behind the acrylic cover, and loosen the four thumbscrews on each side (8 screws in total).

Important Notes: Only loosen the screws; do not fully remove them. After loosening all screws, place the acrylic cover on top of the machine.Do not place the cover elsewhere, as this may loosen or damage the LED light strip.

2. Remove the air filter

Press the spring clips on both sides of the air filter to remove it downwards.

3. Move Printhead and Remove Ink Stack

Move the printhead to the far left of the machine.Use an Allen wrench to loosen the four screws around the ink stack.

4. Disconnect and Reconnect Ink Tube

Disconnect the ink tube below the ink stack and reinstall the ink tube onto the new ink stack. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leakage or air intake.

5. Clean Ink Tray Slide Plate

Use a lint-free cloth dampened with cleaning solution to wipe away any ink residue from the ink tray slide plate. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before installation.

6. Install New Ink Stack

Align the new ink stack with the slide plate and secure it with screws.

7. Replace Wiper Blade

Pull the wiper blade upwards, and use a lint-free cloth dampened with cleaning solution to wipe away the ink stains on the surrounding sheet metal. After finishing, insert the new wiper blade back into its original position.

8. Reassemble the Machine

Reinstall the air filter and acrylic front cover. Ensure all components are securely fastened before restarting the machine.
